8:10: check email, surf internet
8:30-9:04: iron new fabrics
9:12-9:22: pick out preliminary fabrics for October quilt block
9:25-9:46: Sew zipper in purple dress
9:46-9:53: Rip zipper out of purple dress
9:53-9:56: Pin zipper back in dress, set aside for later
9:56-10:10: Sew first half of invisible zipper into striped dress
10:10-10:17: Rip first half of zipper from striped dress
10:17-10:21:Dance break for the new Muse song on the radio
10:21-10:36: Reinsert zipper into striped dress
10:36-11:19 : Breakfast and related chores
11:19-11:39: Try to change blade in small rotary cutter, get frustrated and give up
11:39-12:08: Work on pieces for Artwalk
12:09: Discover that iron has suddenly started melting cotton fabrics. Not good.
12:10-1:46: Work on pieces that don’t need ironing
1:47: Drop big rotary cutter on floor, freak out and think it’s broken, but appears to only be cosmetic damage.
1:48-2:08: Finish one piece, ready for stretching:

2:15-3:20: Go out. Buy new iron. Buy new blade for big rotary cutter. Buy groceries for dinner.
3:20-4:15: Lunch and downtime
4:28- 4:32: Rock out to Coldplay’s Viva la Vida on the radio
4:46: Use new iron for the first time. Like butter!!!
5:01 Dance break for Muse (again–what can I say? it’s Star)
5:18: Finish second piece, ready for stretching:

5:19-5:23: Replace blade in big rotary cutter. Easy peasy. Still haven’t figured out the first one.
5:24-6:01: Work on third piece:

6:01-6:14: Take up hem on red and blue plaid shirt.
6:15: Wrist is starting to hurt, plus it’s time to start making dinner.
6:56: Put lasagna in oven.
6:57-7:16: Hem shirt until it gets too dark in the studio to work.
7:17: Another dance break!
8:00: meander over to Theory Labs for the Sunday night movie.
10:12: Home again. Posting blog. Goodnight.
